Marcellus Mbah
Dr Marcellus F. Mbah is the project’s principal investigator, a learning facilitator, an expert in decolonial research methodology and an academic at the Manchester Institute of Education, University of Manchester. Before joining the Institute, he held teaching and research positions in Bournemouth and then Nottingham Trent, during which he provided leadership to a University’s Research Staff Association, a Special Interest Group (SIG) on Education and International Development and a Professional Placement Programme, amongst others. His research interests include the role of Indigenous Knowledge Systems within the nexus between Education (broadly defined) and Sustainable Development

Ane Turner Johnson
Professor Ane Turner Johnson is a professor of Educational Leadership, Administration, and Research at Rowan University in New Jersey, United States. Professor Johnson is an international education researcher, with a focus on countries in Africa. Dr Johnson has conducted research in Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana, Kenya, the Gambia, South Africa, Tanzania, Zambia, Zanzibar, and Zimbabwe. Her research interests include the impact of conflict on universities and the connection between sustainable development and Indigenous knowledge practices in education.

Chidi Ezegwu
Dr Ndubuisi Chidi Ezegwu is a Research Associate at the Manchester Institute of Education, University of Manchester. He is a multidisciplinary research and development specialist with many years of leadership in business, research and development. In the past ten years, he has successfully contributed to the success of diverse multidisciplinary research and development projects. His areas of research interest and experience are education, climate, gender (especially issues around masculinity) and social inclusion, political economy analysis, capacity development and reproductive health and rights issues.
